A core issue in experiencing God by participating in the mission of God is found in answering the question: where is God at work? You can’t join God at work if you can’t see where he is at work. This is what we call “Cause O” – ground zero for understanding what is really going on in the world. Missional theology is all about understanding where God is at work and what God is attempting to do. Without that biblical understanding, Christianity becomes just another religious practice.
